What you are buying, at what price, and what happens next.
These terms apply to every order placed in the KONECT shop — accessories and subscriptions. They complement the terms of use, which govern the service itself.

Seller and buyer
The seller is the operator of KONECT, identified at the bottom of this page. The buyer is any person placing an order in the shop, for themselves or for their organisation.
Placing an order counts as accepting these terms, in the version online on the day of the order.
What is being sold
Two distinct things, not to be confused: physical accessories fitted with an NFC chip, and subscriptions that unlock features of the service.
An accessory works without a subscription: the profile it opens stays reachable. A subscription adds features, it is not a condition of the tap.
The configurator's visuals give a faithful representation of the result; a shade may still vary between screen and print, without amounting to a defect.
Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are shown in the currency indicated on the product page and in the cart. The price shown at the moment you confirm is the one that applies.
Applicable taxes and delivery charges are calculated and shown before payment, never after. No amount is added at a later step.
An obvious display error on a price does not bind us: we tell you and let you cancel at no cost.
How an order is formed
You add to the cart, customise if you wish, enter delivery details, check the summary, then pay. Every step remains editable until payment.
The sale is concluded when payment is taken, not when the item is added to the cart. A confirmation email carrying the order number is then sent to you.
We may refuse an order in case of suspected fraud, a previous unpaid balance, or a stock shortage. It is then refunded in full.
Payment
Payment is made by card, mobile payment or bank transfer, according to the methods actually available in your country — they are presented to you at the payment step.
Transactions are handled by our payment providers. Your card number does not pass through our servers and is never stored there.
Payment must be complete before manufacturing starts. No order enters production on a pending payment.
Manufacturing and customisation
A customised accessory is made for you, from what you approved in the configurator: your name, your logo, your colours.
As long as the order has not entered production, it can be cancelled or corrected on request. Once it has, printing cannot be undone: a customised item is no longer cancellable or returnable, except where defective — that is the item discussed on the returns page.
You are answerable for what you have printed. A logo or trademark you have no right to use remains your responsibility, and we may refuse to print a clearly unlawful design.
Delivery
Open delivery zones, their lead time and their price are shown when you order. A zone that does not appear is not open yet.
Announced lead times are counted in working days from dispatch, and add to the manufacturing time of a customised item. They are estimates: a carrier delay does not automatically give a right to cancel, but we look for a solution with you.
Check the address you enter: a wrong address that causes a parcel to come back means new shipping charges.
A parcel arriving damaged or incomplete must be reported to us within fourteen days of receipt, with photos.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
The detail — deadlines, items concerned, procedure — lives on the dedicated returns page, which forms an integral part of these terms.
In short: a non-customised item in intact condition can be returned within thirty days; a customised item is only taken back if it is defective or does not match what you approved.
Warranty
The statutory warranties applicable to the sale apply as of right, and nothing in this document sets them aside.
Beyond them, we warrant an accessory's chip for twelve months from receipt: if it stops responding under normal use, the accessory is replaced free of charge.
Cosmetic wear, breakage, punching, immersion and any modification of the object are excluded — punching a hole through a card cuts the antenna and silences it for good.
Subscriptions
A subscription is billed in advance, for the chosen period, and renews automatically at its term until you cancel it.
Cancellation is done from your dashboard and takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: you keep your features until then, with no further charge after that.
A price increase never applies to a period already paid for, and is announced to you at least thirty days before the renewal concerned.
When a subscription ends, your accessories keep opening your profile: it is the paid features that stop, not the tap.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Province of Ontario and applicable Canadian federal law.
If you buy as a consumer, the mandatory provisions of the law of your province or country of residence remain yours.
A dispute starts with a message: write to us before taking any other step, we try to settle first.
