Three cookies, no trackers, no banner.
This page lists what KONECT actually puts in your browser. It is short because the list is short.

What we are talking about
A cookie is a small file a site puts in your browser and reads back on your next visit. It can be used to recognise you and keep you signed in — or to follow you from site to site and sell you advertising.
Those two uses have nothing in common. KONECT only does the first.
Why there is no banner
No advertising cookie, no third-party tracker, no embedded social network. There is therefore no consent to ask you for: the cookies listed here are strictly necessary to the function you requested.
A banner that makes you click "accept" for three technical cookies informs nobody and tires everybody. This page replaces it, and it tells the whole truth.
The exact list
Here is what may sit in your browser after a visit.
- Cart — remembers your cart between visits, including without an account. Thirty days, unreadable by the page's JavaScript.
- Session — keeps you signed in to your dashboard. Set by our authentication provider, it disappears when you sign out.
- Language — remembers whether you read the site in French or English, so it does not ask again on every page.
- Security — short-lived tokens that protect forms against forged submissions.
That is all. None of these cookies profiles you, and none is read by a third party for commercial purposes.
How we measure without following you
We count profile openings to give you your statistics. That measurement uses no cookie at all: it is recorded server-side, at the moment of the visit.
What is kept is an event — approximate country, device type, where the link came from — with no persistent identifier and no IP address in the clear. So we know how many times your profile was opened, never who opened it twice.
Refusing or clearing them
Your browser lets you inspect, block and delete a site's cookies — the setting is in the privacy preferences, under the site's name.
What breaks then is predictable: without the session cookie you cannot stay signed in; without the cart cookie it empties between visits; without the language cookie the site falls back to its default language.
The public profile keeps working: reading a KONECT profile requires no cookie.
If the list changes
This page is the list, not a summary of the list. Any cookie added is written here before it is set.
The day a non-essential cookie became necessary — third-party audience measurement, say — it would only be set after your explicit consent, and this page would say so first.
The inventory, cookie by cookie
One cookie per row. The name is the one you'll see in your browser settings.
Scroll the table sideways to see every column.
| Name | Category | What it's for | Duration | Set by |

konect_cart | Essentials | Remembers your basket between visits, even without an account. Not readable by the page's JavaScript. | 30 days | konect-networking.com |
konect_lead_draft | Essentials | Keeps what you typed if a contact exchange fails, long enough to fix it. Limited to that accessory's page. | 15 minutes | konect-networking.com |
NEXT_LOCALE | Essentials | Remembers whether you read the site in French or in English. | Until you close your browser | konect-networking.com |
konect_consent | Essentials | Remembers what you chose here. Readable by the page: it's what stops us asking again. | 6 months | konect-networking.com |
Change my cookie settings
The same settings as everywhere else on the site, spelled out on this page.
Your session when you're signed in, your basket, the language you picked, and the memory of what you set right here.
Which pages get visited, from which country, and how people reach the site. Anonymous: we're not trying to work out who you are.
The card you're customising, kept between visits, and the products you've just looked at.
We store none. No ad network, no pixel, no share button that would follow you elsewhere. The day that changed, we'd ask you again — and this line would be the first to change.
There's nothing to set today: KONECT only stores the essentials.
